Big Dreams, Big Heart

Pursue the Big Dreams God Has Placed on Your Heart

Have you ever had a dream so big, so bold, that you almost didn’t dare to say it out loud? I know what that feels like because, for a long time, I kept my biggest dreams tucked away, too scared to believe they were really meant for me. But here's the thing—if God placed a dream on your heart, it’s there for a reason. He’s chosen you to bring it to life.

For years, I wrestled with self-doubt. I’d ask myself, Who am I to take on this dream? What will people think of me? But something powerful happens when we stop focusing on what others think and start focusing on what God thinks. Trusting that He chose me as the girl for the job has been one of the most freeing and joyful decisions of my life. The opinions of others? They no longer hold me back.

You see, God doesn’t just choose anyone. He chose YOU. He gave you your unique combination of passions, talents, and experiences because He knew you’d be able to impact the world in a way only you can. Once I stopped running from that truth and started embracing the fact that my dreams were God’s whispers, everything fell into place. The fear of not being “enough” faded, and I found joy in embracing who God called me to be.

I’ve always been passionate about a lot of things—acting, modeling, running a business, hosting my podcast, and, yes, pageantry too. For a long time, I worried that people might think I was too "all over the place," that I should stick to one thing or fit into a specific mold. But here’s the truth I’ve learned on my journey: other people’s opinions aren’t your compass. God is. He doesn’t waste any part of you. Every passion, every skill, and every experience is intentional. He’s writing a story that’s bigger than we can imagine.

Letting go of what others think—and fully surrendering my plans to God—has given me so much freedom. I no longer worry about fitting into someone else’s idea of success or worth. I know that I’m here for a purpose, and that my talents and passions are tools to touch lives, no matter where I go.

So today, I want to encourage you: don’t be afraid of those big dreams. Don’t let the fear of what others think keep you small. Trust that you were chosen for a reason, and that with God leading the way, you are more than capable of seeing those dreams come to life.

You’ve got this. And more importantly—God’s got you.
